5 things for Ramadan only given to Ummah of Prophet (SAW) | Blessings of Ramadan

The month of Ramadan is full of blessings which gives us the great opportunity to earn rewards and seek forgiveness from Allah. We are so lucky that we are the Ummah of beloved Prophet Muhammad (ï·º).

Blessings of Ramadan

Allah has blessed the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad (ï·º) with the five things for Ramadan, which were not granted to any Ummah before. Let's have a look at those five things:

  1. The smell from the mouth of a fasting person is more sweeter to Allah than the fragrant smell of musk. Describing its meaning, some are of the opinion that in the Hereafter Allah shall reward that smell from the mouth of fasting person with fragrant smells, more sweet and pleasing than musk.
  2. On their behalf the fish in the sea seek forgiveness for the fasting persons, until they break their fast. This means that many beings offer prayers on the behalf of fasting person.
  3. Allah prepares and decorates a special garden in Jannah everyday and then says (to it), "The time is near when faithful servants shall cast aside the great trials of the world and come to you".  Thus paradise becomes decorated for the fasting person.
  4. Evil-minded Shaitan is chained in this month so as not to reach unto those evils to which they normally reach during other months besides Ramadan. Then also if we commit sins then it may be due to the influence or impact of Shaitan on us throughout the other eleven months of the year.
  5. Forgiveness is granted on the last night of Ramadan. Thus a fasting person is forgiven at the end of Ramadan.

These are the five things that Allah blessed only on the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad (ï·º). We are so lucky and we must be very thankful to Allah. May Allah give us the strength to keep fast in Ramadan.
